Jesus wants us to be happy, but more importantly He wants us to love God and spend eternity with Him. Jesus is leading us either toward Him or helping us live for Him with these words.
Please don't take them out of context for spiritual meaning. I give you.... REFERENCES! You can look at these and then have this great understanding of Jesus by reading through a gospel.
