Psalm 27: 1-3
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
"Father, thank you that we don't have to fear anybody because we believe in You. You are a great God to protect us from the world, after you already saved us from the Pit of Fire. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Another encouragement day! We're still keeping with this theme of how God will protect us always.
If God is our light, salvation, and the strength of our lives, we don't need to fear. When the wicked come to 'eat our flesh' (bully us or our friends...) they'll fall, because God will make them. A whole army can be ready to attack us (they gang up on us) and we won't fear, because we are confident in our God.
Of course, it will all happen in God's perfect timing. Sometimes we see it, sometimes we don't. But we know it will happen, because God told us it would. As many of us are already in school and others will be in the next week or two, may we all remember this mentality of 'You can do anything to me, but you'll regret it later'.
In His Service,
Joyce
