I will offer up my life
In spirit and truth
Pouring out the oil of love
As my worship to You
Matthew 26:6-7 And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. (verse 10: But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, "Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me.)
In surrender I must give my every part
Lord receive the sacrifice
Of a broken heart
Jesus what can I give, what can I bring
To so faithful a friend, to so loving a King
Revelation 19:16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Savior what can be said what can be sung
As a praise of Your name
For the things You have done
Oh my words could not tell not even in part
Of the debt of love that is owed by this thankful heart
You deserve my every breath
For You've paid the great cost
Giving up Your life to death
Even death on a cross
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
You took all my shame away
There defeated my sin
Opened up the gates of heaven
And have beckoned me in
Romans 10:13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."
In His Service,
Joyce
