Judging

Romans 2:1 NKJV
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice such things.

Here's a pretty powerful verse. If you're judging people, you're committing the same act that you're judging them for. If I judge someone for wearing a low-cut shirt, I also am wearing a low-cut shirt to God. It's the same basic idea as the one (that has a Bible verse, but I don't know where it is) where someone sins once and they've committed all sins.

We are inexcusable. There's no excuse, defense or justification (Amplified Version) for judging. But they were... no. None.

This is why we're not supposed to judge other people, or this is among the reasons. (Another few are Jesus didn't judge so it's un-Christlike, and when people see Christians being judgemental they don't want to be near us). But in this verse, we are condemned. It's counted as one of our sins. There's no condemnation in Christ, so if you're saved you won't be sent to Hell for this, but it's still a sin.

In His Service,
Joyce

Ok: What's an example of a judgemental comment and a non-judgemental comment? (or one or the other)
