God is Calling You Right Now

Joel 2:32
And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the LORD
Shall be saved.
For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance,
As the LORD has said,
Among the remnant whom the LORD calls.

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord (Jesus) will be saved. There will be deliverance in Jerusalem, just like God said, when God calls the people.

God is calling you right now. You, out of every other person in the world. He is calling you by name. He wants to be with you, not just now, but for forever.

Are you going to respond to that call? Will you call on His name? Will you become one of His children? It just takes these words:

“God, I know that I am a sinner, and I know that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. You said that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, so I’m calling on His name now. I ask that You’ll come into my life. Thank You, Lord, for this gift. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

If you just prayed that prayer, you have answered God’s first calling for you. He calls us all to accept the fact that we are sinners but Jesus isn’t. Those who accept it aren’t necessarily the best, nicest people, or rich, or whatever else. They are just the ones that God has blessed with faith, and that are willing to use it.

Welcome to the family.

In His Service,
Joyce

Did you just answer that calling? Let us know, so we can pray for you and congratulate you.

If you've been saved for a long time, what's the most important thing you've learned about God, or yourself, or your relationship with Him?

So far we have:
God is always with us. We just have to remember that. It's not God that abandons us, it's the other way around. Whatever the situation, God is there for us.
