Mystery by Jonah 33

Mystery
Jonah 33

What's it gonna take for the dead to wake in me?
What does it require to understand this fire inside
I want to comprehend where you start and where I end
If I could only magnify
If I could only magnify

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things with God has prepared for those who love Him."

The mystery behind you is consuming me
And I call conspiracy
You made yourself an endless maze of love
So I'd never give up
Don't want to leave this mystery
I'll never leave this mystery

1 Corinthians 2:10-12 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

So the question goes
Will I ever fully know the significance of the promises I'm told
And with this light inside is the dark afraid of me
Will the time come that I know?
Will the time come that I know?

John 3:20-21 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

If you ever came to me
To give me anything, anything at all
Your wisdom's what I need
For I am just a fiend
That craves your mystery

1 Kings 3:7-9 Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?

'Give me wisdom'. It was asking for Solomon, I'm sorry.

The song as I was searching verses reminded me about the Holy Spirit, which is why that continuous verse from 1 Corinthians was in there.

Today is Veteran's Day. This isn't a political day, this isn't a day to argue over whether the war is good or not, and it isn't a day to be arguing about is war the best option. The soldiers know the answer, I think. Today is the day to thank a soldier, to remember their sacrifice, to be proud to be an American. But today is also the day to thank God for these soldiers, and everything they've given us, and pray for those who are still overseas and even those who are over here, and their families. God has given us a great gift through them, praise Him for it!

Have a great Veteran's Day in the world and nation where God put you for a reason.
In His Service,
Joyce
